The best place was the RAC building in Feltham. Shabby falling apart 1980 office block going to ruin, i had the customer experience team on the phones to my left, the product team to my right and an MD who walked between all 3 of us constantly wondering what was going on. Great atmosphere, great results. Shame about the crow that lived in the dead garden outside and spookily looked like the one from the Omen.
The worst was an insurance company division in the city. After lunch all you could smell was beer breath and farts as the underwriters returned from a liquid lunch and 'wound down' for the afternoon. Dead people, dead space; nothing ever got done.
